Leadership & Vision

Our Senior Partner Santokh Singh Chhokar established Chhokar & Co Solicitors in 1994. Santokh is a graduate of the University of London and is a member of the Solicitors’ Family Law Association and the International Bar Association. He has served as Honorary Treasurer and President of the Middlesex Law Society.

Santokh takes an active interest and participates in community affairs. He has served as Chairman of the Trustees of the Sikh Missionary Society (UK) and General Secretary of India Association and the Sikh Forum International. Santokh has been a Fellow of the Royal Society since 2005.

Santokh has served as Councillor of the Gerrards Cross Parish Council, District Councillor for the South Bucks District (including two years as Chairman of the Council) and a Councillor of the Buckinghamshire Council and Chairman of the Denham Gerrards Cross and Chalfonts Community Board for 5 years.

Santokh is highly involved in the philanthropic activities of the Chhokar Family’s charitable organisations – the Mata Chana Kaur Charitable Trust in India and the Sardar Sohan Singh Chhokar Foundation in the United Kingdom.
